I lived the fashion faux pas of the 80's so, if anyone can look back at photos and cringe, it would be me.  but I don't.  I smile, I remember moments and, more than anything, I wish I had  been in more photos. 

My children could be forgiven for thinking I didn't exist when they were young, because I was always behind the camera.  I always thought my hair was too messy or I wasn't dressed well enough or I carried a kilo or two extra, etc, etc.  I get it, I really do.    

As I've matured, I've realised that none of it matters.  I look back at the very few photos that I do exist in and see how lovely I was - messy hair and all.   

take into account that, as a professional, you can be confident I will be wary of every detail and make sure you look your best, 

Therefore, I encourage you to participate.  your children WILL want to see you.   The worst that will happen is that, in years to come, you'll look back and laugh, or maybe be super proud that you lost those extra kilos or not even care anymore.    You don't have to post anything on social media or even show anyone else, if you don't want, but have them.  #existinphotos
